Protective films & Covers
Lotryl® resins are used in protective films for swimming pool covers, car covers and flexible tarpaulins.
Thanks to the process used to produce Lotryl (autoclave reactor), their melt characteristics (high melt strength, low neck-in, high drawability) make them perfectly adapted for extrusion-coating and extrusion-lamination processes.
Thus, coating of Lotryl on solid substrates like fabrics (PET, PA, PP) or non wovens (PE, PP) can be used to make strong flexible sheets, tarpaulins, geomembranes and covers.
High polarity and low cristallization rate induce very good bond between Lotryl and substrate (woven or fabric fibers).
Swimming pool covers
Car covers
Lotryl® resins offer good temperature resistance.
Typical structure : Non-woven (PP or PE) coated with Lotryl.
Due to its high softness and polarity, Lotryl adheres well on the car body for efficient protection, but it can be removed without leaving any residues or deposit.
