Arkema entrusts SUEZ with management and recovery of waste on 28 sites in France

At the beginning of March Arkema, one of the world’s major players in specialty chemicals and advanced materials, renewed and extended its contract with SUEZ for the next four years. SUEZ will now manage and recover 240,000 tonnes of waste on 28 Arkema production sites in France. This partnership will help safeguard Arkema’s business continuity and economic and environmental performance.

Under the new contract, SUEZ will develop solutions to optimise management and recovery of all Arkema’s industrial waste. SUEZ will provide recovery operations for metal, cardboard, wood, sludge, solvents and pallets.


Eight associates from SUEZ will be overseeing this contract on a daily basis. It will be managed by SUEZ Industrial Waste Specialties, an entity specialising in the management and recovery of special industrial waste in Europe, providing solutions across Europe and throughout the world.


SUEZ Group offers its expertise in optimising the economic and environmental performance of Arkema’s production sites by implementing a productivity plan, and by maintaining exemplary safety levels and ensuring continuous service.
